Since coming back from Morocco I’ve had an inconvenient cold. Google’s advice was, as usual, that I should carry on running. Hate Google sometimes.
I’ve managed to drag myself from my lovely warm sick bed to go for a run in cold, damp Brislington a couple of times. Mixed reviews of these runs. I think they made me feel slightly better in the short term, but they were pretty difficult so not so great for my confidence/motivation.
Anyway, despite the lurgy, I’ve managed to keep to my training schedule reasonably well. Go me! (These self-congratulatory exclamations are pretty integral to running success. I imagine.)
